P.S. 610: With Highest Honors

This group exhibition features four artists who work in a variety of 2D mediums. The featured artists are JUS1O Ellis, Joanna Henry, Toye Durrah, and Zaire McPhearson. Their work explores the theme of transformation and the removal of facades seen within the African American community.

20th Blues & Jazz Festival

What’s making York County groove? The 20th Blues & Jazz Festival in Rock Hill, SC! You read it right! Our annual music party is back. 

We’ll start the celebration with a FREE Kickoff Concert at FARMacy Community Farmstop on Saturday, September 28, and continue with a high-energy Old Town Crawl on Friday, October 4.

THE ARTS

The arts are vibrant in York County, South Carolina! The Arts Council of York County offers a diverse range of arts programming including visual and performing arts events, as well as our annual Juried Art Competitions.

In the galleries at the Center for the Arts, Tom S. Gettys Center, and at Rock Hill’s City Hall, local, regional, and national artists are provided the space to display their paintings, prints, sculptures, and textile arts.

FESTIVALS & EVENTS

The arts are alive in York County! With events like the First Fridays Rock Hill, Blues & Jazz Festival, Underexposed Film Festival yc, and Ag + Art Tour, our events will get you out and into our communities. At the Tom S. Gettys Center and in venues around the county, you’ll find world-class performances by local, regional, and national acts.
